Looking out my window.I’m looking out my window,
And what do I see?
Small lights from the distant city,
Shining back to me.

I see treetops as tall as skyscrapers,

And stars as small as pins,
Man on the Moon saying hi to me
Like I’m one of his kin.

I see the rooftops of houses,
Some pointed, some flat.
Some even have mangers,
Or Santa’s with hats.

I see a star from the garden house,
That Daddy put up high,

HolocaustDecember 28, 1942 in Paris, France is where our story begins. Nicole Einhorn, her husband Joseph, and their five-year-old daughter Clara sat around the table, holding hands while Joseph recited a Jewish prayer. Next to Nicole laid her baby daughter, Sophie, asleep in a rocker. Joseph finished the prayer and they began to eat. Later that night as Nicole lay in bed, she thought about how she had seen Adolf Hitler in the streets of Paris earlier that day. He was sightseeing and, like any other tourist might, Hitler was admiring the Eiffel Tower. Nicole had been taking an afternoon walk with Clara and Sophie when she saw him and a Holocaust

BulliesSome kids are very mean at school,
They pick on me every day.
They start rumours and say mean things,
In the most painful way.

I try not to let it bother me,
I have to remain strong.
When deep inside I know that this,
Is really rather wrong.

It stabs me like a thousand knives,
I'll never be okay.
I just wish that,
These bullies would go away!

They hurt me more than they think they do,
And this they must not know.
